1. Who we are

CleanReel (cleanreel.app) is operated by GREATER ADELAIDE SALES PTY LTD, an Australian company ("CleanReel", "we", "us"). You can reach us any time at support@cleanreel.app. By using CleanReel you agree to these terms.

2. What CleanReel does

CleanReel is a browser tool for editing short videos that you own or have the rights to edit. It can remove watermarks, erase unwanted objects, enhance and upscale, reframe to a new aspect ratio, and apply a privacy blur to faces (license-plate detection is in beta).

Processing is automated. Results depend on your footage, and some marks or objects clean up better than others — that's exactly what the free preview is for.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

We may remove content, refuse service, and suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe these terms are being broken — and we do this especially for repeat infringers. We may also cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

4. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time email link — there's no password. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone with your sign-in link can access your CleanReel account.

6. Service "as is" and liability

CleanReel is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we can't promise uninterrupted service or that every clip will process perfectly.

To the extent permitted by law: we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a breach of a non-excludable guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

7. Changes to the service or these terms

We may improve or change the service, and we may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always shows the current version, and material changes will be noted on the site. Using CleanReel after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts of South Australia (this doesn't limit any non-excludable consumer rights in your own jurisdiction).

To report content you believe infringes your rights, or any misuse of CleanReel, email abuse@cleanreel.app with a description of the content and the basis of your claim. We review valid reports and act on them, including removing content and terminating repeat infringers.
