CleanReel (cleanreel.app) is operated by GREATER ADELAIDE SALES PTY LTD, an Australian company. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the tool — your email and the video you're editing — your videos are deleted from our server within about 6 hours, we never see your card number, and there's no third-party ad tracking on the site.

1. What we collect

Your email address — used to send your magic sign-in link and to keep your credit balance attached to your account. Previews don't need an account at all.
The videos you upload — processed only to produce the result you asked for (preview or export). We don't use your videos for anything else, including training AI models.
Payment confirmation — payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe tells us that you paid and which credit pack you bought; we never see or store your card number.
Basic technical logs — like any web service, our servers see IP addresses and request metadata, which we use only for security, debugging and rate limiting.

2. How long we keep it

Uploaded files and generated results are automatically deleted from our server within about 6 hours. Download your result promptly — after that window it's gone.
Your email address and credit balance are kept while you have an account, so your credits are there when you come back.
Stripe retains payment records according to its own policies (financial-record laws require some retention).

3. Who processes it for us (sub-processors)

Render	Hosts the API and does the video processing (your uploads live here, briefly).
Neon	Database storing your email and credit balance.
Stripe	Payment processing (card details go to Stripe, not to us).
Resend	Sends the magic-link sign-in emails.
Netlify	Serves the website itself (static pages / CDN).

These providers act on our instructions. Some are located overseas (mainly the United States), so your information may be stored or processed outside Australia.

4. In your browser

The only thing CleanReel keeps in your browser is a signed session token (localStorage key cr_auth) so you stay signed in on that device. Signing out removes it. We don't run third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

5. What we never do

We don't sell your personal information.
We don't use your videos for anything except producing your result.
We don't send marketing email — the only emails you get are the sign-in links you request.

6. Your rights

Email support@cleanreel.app from your sign-in address to access or delete your data — we'll show you what we hold (your email and credit balance; uploads are already auto-deleted) or delete your account record. We handle personal information in line with Australian privacy law, and if you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
